The Lake Ridge Elementary School PTO is a group of parents and teachers who are committed to providing our students with fun and enriching activities and amenities. We provide community building events, fundraising opportunities, philanthropy, and much more. Please consider joining the PTO this year. Any amount of time and effort is appreciated. We are a school of over 600 students; could you imagine how amazing it would be if we had that many people volunteer just two hours per semester?

More appreciation for our hardworking teachers and staff!  The PTO provides incentives and clubs to those who generously provide club activities to our students. We also offer reimbursements for supplies our teachers purchase with their own funds.  Additionally, we provide creature comforts through frequent appreciation events, helping to brighten their day while they brighten the lives of our children!

During the 2024 - 2025 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Family and community outreach for students and their families. Monthly appreciation events for staff,  5th grade t-shirts, Robotics Club supplies, and New Orleans Snow Balls for all students and staff. Contributed $23,300 towards classroom supplies and teaching materials including PE equipment, Music instruments, poster printer with supplies, and funding for Brain Pop.

During the 2023 - 2024 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Powerpack weekend meals for LRES students every week. Monthly appreciation events for staff, classroom supplies and teaching materials, 5th grade t-shirts, New Orleans Snow Balls for all students and staff and $12,000 towards new library books.

During the 2022 - 2023 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Powerpack weekend meals for LRES students every week. Monthly appreciation events for staff, classroom supplies and teaching materials, 5th grade t-shirts and $25,000 towards new library books.

During the 2021 - 2022 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Powerpack weekend meals for over 30 students every week. Monthly appreciation events for staff, classroom supplies and teaching materials, 5th grade t-shirts and $30,000 towards and outdoor covered classroom/picnic area.

During the 2020 - 2021 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Monthly appreciation events throughout COVID, grade level grants and teacher reimbursements for classroom supplies and materials.

During the 2019 - 2020 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

A complete LAPTOP cart for a classroom, and outfitted the new science lab with materials for every grade level.

During the 2018 - 2019 School Year the LRES PTO provided:

Supplies and Printers for the classrooms, two water bottle filling machines, the large mural in the front entrance and much more! These learning tools are used in every classroom throughout the year.
